Summer 2023

Hi all!

I have been diligently working on getting this website up and going again. The last time I posted was in March of 2020 (and we all know what happened right after that). However things are on the go again and I have been painting until my hands cramp to get ready for upcoming summer shows.

Now that we are into the month of July the Shoreline Artists (www.shorelineartists.net) Studio Tour has passed. It was a wonderful event with beautiful weather on Sunday and lots of visitors. I had only one small panic attack when my tent collapsed on me Saturday morning. It turns out Walmart canopy tents are not designed to hang both lattice and paintings off of. Thankfully, the lovely people who were hosting me had a tent I was able to borrow.

Summer time is art time, and I will be participating in two more shows this season. On the Civic Holiday Weekend (August 5-7th) I will have artwork handing at the Bruce Peninsula Art Show at the Lion’s Head Highschool (https://brucepeninsulaart.ca/art-show/). This is hosted by the Bruce Peninsula Society of Artists and there is always a lot of amazing art to check out as well as the quilt show. That very same weekend you can come see me and the Shoreline Artists at Art on the Fence at Chantry Breezes B&B in Southampton on August 5th from 9am-4pm.

And finally to finish off the Summer I am a guest artist at the Owen Sound Artists’ Co-op for the month of September. I am very excited about this and when I get more information I will post it here.
